"Sirens are used to alert people of an outdoor emergency situation. When you hear a siren, go inside and tune to a local radio/TV station for information. You may not hear a siren inside a building. Hearing a siren does not mean evacuate -- it means tune to a local station for information. Make sure neighbors are aware of sirens sounding too!
